Thank you for birthday wishes. DegreeInfo seems to think it is March 15, but my pal Albert Einstein and I were both on March 14th.

At the moment, the degree mills book has been, very very very very disappointingly, scheduled for January 2005. My co-author and I have suggested as vigorously as we know how to the publisher (www.prometheusbooks.com) that the time is right for it to be out much sooner, but the chances are slim to none.

Eis polla eti, despota! Or, as we Carpathians say, God grant you many years (or many ears, as one church bulletin had it).

    Whatever, happy birthday.
We are all in your debt.

I apologize for the belated greeting, Dr. Bear. I was only going by Degreeinfo.

Michael: "Hope you had a wonderful day!"

Oh, aye. Last year: under the full moon at Macchu Picchu. This year, picnicking in the new Rosie the Riveter Park in Richmond, California, which honors the women of World War II.
