Just to let you know, Harvard is offering a free non-credit course for all to take on E-Commerce and related topics (all in the same course).

Never mind the fact you can't find the school with a map, you can still legitimately say you took a course at HARVARD! By the way, no entrance exam, app fees, or interviews necessary. Just go to www.harvard.edu and follow the postings. It's offered by their school of law and starts late April (I believe it's roughly 6 weeks in length).

  2. I couldn't find a link from the main Harvard page, but with searching found:
    http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/online/ecintro.html

E-Commerce: An Introduction: April 30-May 11; Free and Open to the Public (Modified Version Available for CLE Credit)
E-Commerce: An Introduction will examine the major legal steps required to launch an online enterprise. Led by Diane Cabell, Berkman Fellow and supervising attorney of the Berkman Center's Clinical Program in Cyberlaw, the two-week program includes segments on Set Up, Transactions, Privacy, and Disputes. Topics to be covered include hosting and development agreements, domain registration, click wraps, digital signatures, encryption, privacy, jurisdiction and online dispute resolution.

I signed up for the course thinking it was 2 weeks also, but the email I got roughly a week later stated the course was longer (roughly 6 weeks). Who knows, I'll find out when I get there.

Watch out requesting the CLE credit. The tuition is killer -- starting at $680 and going to $1,300 for some of the courses offered. After all, this is Harvard and you'll pay dearly for the favor. I imagine they do have cheaper online courses somewhere, but I haven't had time to look yet.
