Just got off the phone with Excelsior. I sent my transcripts off 3 weeks ago and still had not received anything from them so I called them to see if they would tell me anything on the phone. I got wonderful news! They accepted all my credits but most important, they took my math as a fulfillment to the core math requirement. All general education credits are done, I need 31 hours total, all upper level tests plus the one credit class in Literacy they now require (the charge is 225.00 for those who have wondered).

So it's on to the Psych GRE, hopefully will get some of those upper level credits out of the way with that. I need a total of 21 UL credits in arts and sciences and the balance I'll take in UL nursing tests. Hopefull the GRE will knock down some of the 21 in A&S I need. I may well be done with a total of 5-6 more tests total.

I really really liked COSC, they were great but ultimately I can finish faster and less painfully at Excelsior. No math, no cross cultural needed, and no concentration essay. I can pretty much pick what meets my needs instead of having to take tests over things I have no interest in.

Thanks for all your help and encouragement. And now, back to study for the GRE. :D

    good news and congratulations.

I sent my documents to Excelsior more than 3 weeks ago and havent heard from them. Hope they did not lose my application. :( but I know I wont go with them cause ECE gave me so little credits. In any case I thought get the evaluation and see what they say.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

My unofficial eval only took 2 weeks and 1 day and if you all sent three weeks ago that was I about the same time my transcripts were received.

I am in the same boat only I need 14 hours in anything including the one-hour literacy thing.

I am very interested in a second BSc in psych from Excelsior so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep us all informed about your expereinces with the GRE! In minute bloody detail (PLEASE!).

Let us know what study resources you used, and which ones you found most relevant!

My sincerest congratulations on finding the path to your goal, and my very best wishes for the rest of your journey!!!

    :D
