American World University has a warning on it's front page:-

"A UNIVERSITY CALLED AMERICAN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY HAS STOLEN AMERICAN WORLD UNIVERSITY'S WEBSITE. AMERICAN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IS A FRAUDULENT INSTITUTION GIVING AWAY DEGREES FOR VERY LOW PRICES. AMERICAN WORLD UNIVERSITY IS TAKING IMMEDIATE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AMERICAN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY. PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE THE TWO SCHOOLS."

The Wayback Machine shows that http://www.americanworlduniversityonline.org did belong to American World University last year. I don't know why they bothered, since they've had http://www.awu.edu for years.
