Since this board played a substantial role when my journey to a MBA degree began, it is but appropriate that I come back to this board and post again when my journey has come to an end (atleast for the short time). Well folks, I am one of the latest graduates from Touro University International. I graduated with my MBA degree when the session ended on March 5, 2004 with a GPA of 3.94 out of 4.0. I want to thank everybody who provided me with feedback (pros and cons) when I needed it the most (at the beginning, during, and at the end). For all those prospective students who are trying to make up their mind, I would like to mention that my experience at TUI was unique and worthwhile. The course material was exhaustive and the assignments quite challenging. Lot of effort had to go into the case study as well as the session long project (SLP). I know there are some recent concerns about Touro probation, but I don't think that will last as Touro is doing everything in its power to comply. Anyways, thank you all once again. As always, I will continue to visit this discussion board and offer my 2 cents worth to anybody who needs it (or doesn't ) Jarin MBA - TUI
Congratulations Jarin- I just completed my first semester in the Touro MBA program and if all goes well I will be completed this time next year. Just finishing the semester, I know the demands of the case and SLP. Doesn't it feel wonderful to have this accomplishment under your belt. Are you on to a DBA or PHD? Congratulations again and good luck.
WAY TO GO!!!! Sincerest congratulations on acheiving your goal and best wishes in all of your future journies!
Congratulations! I am taking my last two classes this semester and can not wait to feel the joy you must be feeling.
Thank you everyone I just want to thank everyone who took time to read my post and congratulate me. It means a lot. Jarin
Jarin, I know I'm way late in this thread but congratulations just the same! So, I'm starting to get the idea that Touro is a pretty wise and safe way to go for an MBA. Do potential employers like the degree? ie, is it pretty well respected in the business world?
