Another Indian "University" without UGC accreditation.

I don't know what to make of them.

 

Their motto is "Gyanamuttamam" but I don't see an explanation of what this means. Anybody know?

 

supreme wisdom or supreme learning (Sanskrit)

 

Perhaps they overreach ...

 

Clarification about NUMGEX / Lovely University

This is Amit here and i would like to clarify the issue as raised related NUMGEX, Lovely and other University as listed in forum. These are the Universities established under a state legislature duly approved and notified. These Universities are established under a State Act and fulfills the condition of Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 of Govt of India.

As a counterpoint to our new members Amit and Raghu, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering such "universities" perform massive due diligence research before committing any resources in that direction. For example, the simplest google search provided the link below as the first results. Caveat emptor.
