Hello, I am looking for specific suggestions for a course in classroom management. It may be undergraduate and directed toward high school age students. Thanks. Hille
The University of Phoenix Online offers a course in classroom management. However, a drawback may be the fact that UoP's online tuition rates are quite high. According to their website, current undergrade rates are $480 per credit hour. University of Phoenix http://www.wannalearn.com/Online_Course/Classroom_Management.html#1 Pro-Education Media (This course doesn't seem to offer credit. It merely seems to be an online information session.) I do not know anything about this organization, so it is impossible for me to ascertain whether this is truly a viable option for you. They claim to be backed by Education World. If you wish, I will conduct some research to ensure it's quality (or otherwise). I have a lot of free time on my hands, so don't be afraid to ask. http://www.classroommanagementonline.com/ Teacher Inservice & Training Elearning Network (TiTEN) I know anything about this place as well. I'm sure others may. http://www.titen.net/ Hopefully, this will provide you with a starting point. Good luck.
Check out BYU BYU has several courses through DL for classroom managemnt topics. The good news is they only charge $115 per hour - for graduate level courses! I'm taking 3hrs of teaching math in elementary school for my final requirements towards my M Ed. So far so good. The course material is adequate. site is http://ce.byu.edu/is/site/
