Fake medical University advertises on the web

Now I am really confused, I know they say the school doesn't exist but according to there website http://www.kusm.info/medicine/accreditation.htm

They are listed in the IMED. My understanding, and this could be a wrong opinion, if a school is recognized by IMED isn't it then a legitamate school? Of course the WHED disc has schools in it that many feel aren't worth the effort.

Can someone shed some light?

...because otherwise someone might notice that their "faculty" "staff" and "administration" web pages don't mention any names. Sure, the "administration" page says that

But you can't find out who holds the positions. The "affiliated hospitals" page is equally devoid of details.

Ever read The Prince of Tides? There's a vignette in which a dead sea turtle is placed in the master bedroom of the bad guys, who are away on vacation. The house is sealed, the heat turned up, and the turtle left to putrefy between the sheets.

Somehow the idea of an organization streaming slightly trained American "MD's" into the desperate (third) world makes me think of that turtle.

Why does it have an Australian contact address and phone number?

Where does it obtain its degree granting authority? I sent an e-mail to the University and the Ministry of Education in the Solomon Islands. We shall see.
