Using the MGIB for TESC TECEP exam cost??

I'm thinking I may take the TESC TECEP exam for Database Management. I called the TESC VA rep in the financial aid office today to find out what I need to do to get the VA to reimburse the cost of the test through my MGIB. She said that the MGIB would only cover the cost of classes, not the cost of credit through their TECEP exams. Is this true?

I know the VA covers the cost of certification exams, and I assumed that if the test was regionally accredited that I would be able to use my MGIB. Does anybody know more on this?

 

Your best bet would be to contact the VA regional office for your area. They will be able to tell you exactly what the MGIB covers and does not. Hope this helps.
