I received a catalog in the mail from the "Institute of business & finance" in La Jolla, CA. They claim they are in the process of obtaining RA status. I spoke with a rep from the school, over the phone, and she said that you can enroll in the MBA/MS program with out an undergrad until March (I forget if it is the begining or end of the month). What are the chances of this school becoming RA? Is the time frame for getting into the program without an undergrad a sales trick?

They appear to be a legitimate...

financial training certification agency. However, that doesn't transfer to awarding an MBA. I do wonder about their claim to be accredited in all 50 states. I could find where they got their national accrediatation from.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEM! The accreditation is a JOKE! National Private School Association Group may sound fancy but any school can pay a fee to them and be accredited... They do not require a "school" to do anything but a fee.

As the school if you get your "MSFS Degree" can you then proceed to get your doctorate? There is NO schools that will allow you to transfer any of the courses taken at the Institute of Business & Finance to their college for course credits.

On the other side of that coin, if you are looking to learn a great deal and you're not concerned about if a school is accredited or if you can transfer any of these courses to other schools, then I would highly recommend IBF.
