Not at all....Ashworth is a DL school, so it's certainly relevant. I'd like to see more DL schools have support systems like a Yahoo group.

There are several Excelsior nursing students sites at yahoo. Their is a strong fellowship among them, they trade study material, answer questions and help each other with research and ultimately share the grief and heartache of being a nursing student. I think the Ashworth students will find a group to be of assistance to them. Distance study can be lonely. Good luck to your wife.:)

Yes, it can be very lonely. When I was enrolled in BDCS the loneliness was somewhat alleviated during my couseling internship.

My wife appreciates the "good luck." She is doing quite well so far, earning "A's." She's much smarter than I! :D

  6. Did Ashworth fix tuition schedule?

Remember the posts about varying rates. Were you able to get the internet rate? The paperwork they sent me was $2000 higher than that rate posted on the website.

I am not sure if you are addressing or not. The only post about tuition rates I mentioned concerned CCHS.

I was locked into the old rate, PTL!

  8. Asthworth $99/month

This is what the website states:

Business Administration - Full tuition: $3889.00

Easy Payment Plan: Low down payment of $99.00; interest-free monthly payments of $99.00 each month for 38 months; plus a final payment of $28.00.

When I sent for more information from Ashworth, the paperwork stated $5889 total. There are a number of posts discussing this.

Hello - You should pay what is stated on the website - Ashworth, as a DETC school, does have to follow the business standards. "The total course price for any specific course offered by a school must be the same for all persons at any given time" so if the website states one price that is the price that should be on the enrollment agreement - hopefully you have taken a screen capture of the website page. Otherwise it may be that it was a special offer that had a termination date - which is another requirement for DETC schools - no open-ended special offers.

    Ashworth College Tuition

    All,

The problem with Ashworth seems to be 'addition'

I realize the total tuition cost is stated differently, but they always state $99 a month for 38 months, plus $28 final payment.

    The math:

    $99 X 38 months = $3762 + $28 = $3790 + $99 initial payment = Total of $3889

So, there is no difference in the final price, just a computer glitch, perhaps they have one of those old Pentium 60's :)

Then again, maybe it is just a test for perspective students to examine their analytical skills!

    Re: Re: Ashworth College Group

    Hi,

It is no longer functional as there are already several Ashworth groups available for one to join.
