    In my past research for a PhD, I emailed some universities in the UK. I have since decided on the Durban Institute of Technology in SA. However, I recently received an email from the University of Greenwich Business School in the UK. It appears to be a very reasonable program costing about £4,500 for international part-time students. It appears you can enroll with or without a masters as you can obtain your MPhil as part of your program. Here is a blurb on the school:

    The University of Greenwich currently has 10 schools spread across five major campuses. From summer 2001 the Business School is located at the Greenwich Maritime campus, in the impressive historic buildings of the Royal Naval College. The Business School is made up of a number of departments, each with its own specialist area of interest. However academic staff may work together across departments to support a research student where this is appropriate for the student and for the research topic. The departments are:
    * Accounting and Finance
    * Marketing and operations management (including heritage, arts and tourism studies)
    * Management – including Organisation Studies, Strategy and Human Resource Management.
    There are well -established masters’ programmes and applicants for these programmes should contact the Programme Director of the relevant programme. Applicants for a research degree (Mphil/PhD) are strongly advised to consider registration for a masters' degree as a basis for their further study, since this will offer a foundation in research design and research methods. There are currently 18 higher degree students within the School.

    They have sent me the PhD program handbook in Word format. If anyone is of interest I could email it to them.
