I am in the process of submitting my application to Regent University. I am interested in the joint MA in Government & Law program. Are there any Regent students in this forum? I wanted to know the degree of difficulty in enrolling in Regent. I am graduating from Barry University, Florida with a high grade point average but I didn't do well with LSAT (135). Regent is asking for LSAT scores and/or GRE (haven't taken GRE yet). I wonder if they would approve me for classes without these scores and allow me time to 'prove' myself, so to speak. Any advice?

I don't know about Regent specifically, but many graduate programs (both DL & classroom) will allow you to take a certain number of courses before officially applying to the program. You might consider taking a course that you're confident you'll do well in, and then ask for an exemption based on your performance in the course.

Otherwise, look into taking a GRE prep class like those offered by Kaplan. I've read stories of dramatic improvements in scores after taking a prep class, although I've never taken one myself.

    Thank You Bruce

Thank you for the 'tip'. I'll study to take the GRE and if I do not pass it, then I'll ask them for the exemption.

I wouldn't worry about it too much....

almost all non-elite schools have procedures for conditional admission. Then, after two or so classes with a "B" average you are admited unconditionally. However, almost all still require you to take one of the tests. Since you already have the LSAT why don't you go for admission with that? At least call and ask what type of LSAT score they are looking for. Might save yourself a little time, money and angst.
