It seems like I've been at this forever, trying to find an inexpensive and quality program in the Computer/IT field. I've got about 95 credits which I'd like to make use of, the problem is that they're 10 years old! What's my best chance of making use of them? Also, any ideas of how I might contact some alumni who've been through these programs?

Any help here is appreciated. I've looked through some of the books that have been recommended (Bear's, etc...), but the myriad of choices is dizzying! The upside is that I know there have got to be some good ones in there, I'm just having trouble knowing how to figure out the good and bad of it all.

Would anybody tell me if I was gettin' stupider?

Are you currently working in the IT field. If so, take a look at Excelsior's BS/CIS program. They accepted 60 credit hours of my computer courses from the mid 80's. Initially I asked an advisor if they would accept them and was told no. Later, I applied to the program and they accepted them without question.

I'm in CIT for my state's government, but I work on the mainframes now - what I do here wouldn't be worth any credit toward a meaningful degree.
