my friend is thinking bout starting a tutorial college for dl degrees in areas where such education is unavailable. we think there is great demand for this, but still not 100% sure. I haven't a clue how to start this project. At the moment we r thinking of doing it not-4-profit. How do we go bout doing market-research, seeing if its in demand by students, getting teachers, a building etc.
we wouldn't tutor the kids ourselves, he just had the idea and we would like to c it happen.

Any good ideas, leads or resources for me, please, i need all the help i can get?

    Where do i start?

    Newbie2DL,

Well, if you and your friend are doing for profit; should join Brain Mass @ www.brainmass.com. If you guys are doing for Non-Profit, then join my organization.

I am working on the website @ www.collegepeople.net; which providing college students at distance learning the material. I don't have college degre, so I don't teach; however I am going to setup some classes for Information System Technology. Such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications, and etc....

    thanks

but i am not looking at doing this online. Rather, teaching DL courses to students in a traditional classroom environment.

Many reputable colleges offer DL courses which are cheaper than traditional colleges.

we would like to tutor students for these courses.

    Thanks

    Any other ideas people???

Well, if you teach Distance Education via traditional classroom. The best way for this case is to participate with the Library. My friends had done that, but he taught Information System, Mathematics with Science.

    Good Luck,
