London MA in Geography no longer offered

It appears that the most traditional of all post-graduate degrees the University of London has offered - the MA in geography - has been with drawn.

This was "traditional" in the sense that it was a masters degree almost entirely by thesis; only two courses, I think, were required apart from that.

Sadly, an era is passing.

(I had hoped to suggest this route for a friend who left the University of Glasgow this past fall in disappointment: he had gone to study economic history, only to find that three of those he had hoped to study under had left! Economic geography, through the London geography MA, had been an alternative route of study - but no more.)

 

The lead college was King's. Perhaps they figure the new war studies MA will be more popular?
