This is my first post, but I've been browsing the threads on this site for some time. I'll be graduating in June with a BS degree and I'm very close to sending in an application for the Norwich University Online MA in Diplomacy program. As I found out about the program on this website, I was curious to see if there might be any current students or graduates of this program that could offer some advice. I'm particularly interested in the level of interaction between students and instructors and about the process of defending one's thesis at the completion of the program. Thanks for any info that can be offered.

The current Norwich DL offerings are fairly new, so I don't know that there are many graduates in general, never mind any that are here. Norwich signed a non-competition agreement when they sold Vermont College to the Union Institute & University that didn't expire until a couple of years ago.

You might want to contact Norwich directly and see if they will put you in contact with any current students or graduates. I know I would be pleased to discuss any of my alma maters with a potential student.

Last year I looked very seriously at Norwich's MBA program. I was almost ready to send in the application. The last hoop they had to jump through was providing a few graduates for me to talk to. they said no problem, they'd be in touch shortly. I gave up after reminding them twice.

I looked at Norwich, at Strayer, and a bunch of others. I guess it depends upon what you want to do. I'm very close to going with Tulsa. It's reputable, been around a while, not going anywhere, is halfway to where I am just about anywhere in the country I'll be stationed, and is just about the most cost-effective program in the top 100 schools. Yeah, there's bigger "name" schools, but some of them are running the 80-thousand dollar range. Tulsa's entire program, including pre-MBA courses (three of them) is 27k.
