    Hi!

I'm looking at several options for a BSc in Philosophy offered through distace learning.

In the UK, I had narrowed it to Birkbeck College, University of London, and the one at the Open University.

I'd like to receive some feedback about both universities, for which I'm yet to understand how they're regarded to in both the academic and corporate worlds.

Can anyone shed some light on the reputation of these universities?

Thanks in advance for your comments and advice

    Best Regards!

If you enroll at U of London the lead college for the philosophy degree program is Birkbeck. Aside from that I didn't know that Birkbeck offered their own degree through the DL modality. Do they? Beyond that I can only mention that I do not believe that Open University degree programs are made available to people in the USA. I'm not certain if that applies to you. Just a guess.

It's interesting that not all of their programs are through the External program (MSc in Structural Biology e.g.). The same is true for Kings College, where they offer their MA in War Studies outside of the domain of the External program.
