Has anyone attended Liberty or Norwich University's MBA program? If so, how was it? My concern with Liberty is that its MBA program is based upon the "Christian worldview." I am sure that the business world of late could benefit from more Christian morals. However, considering that I am not very religious, I have wondered if I would be uncomfortable there. Also, do the classes emphasize religion more than business? Thanks Dave BS Auburn University MAS ERAU
I don't have any experience with either school. But, you are going in the right direction - checking US News - also look at Petersons and the search engine in this site - DegreeInfo - first page. The catch on any of these guides is to check the schools website to be sure that it is "100% online". Many times they include programs that have "online courses" along with mandatory residency periods for face-to-face instruction. The US News site lists per unit cost - but in comparing schools see if they are semester or quarter units - how many units are required for the degree - can you transfer in any units - do you have to complete any pre-requesites. Just a few thoughts. Good Luck.
Dave, Liberty's MBA classes are presented from a Christian worldview. The video taped lectures begin and end with prayer and some classes do have required readings from the Bible. However, in my experience with Liberty's MBA program, religion has not become the primary focus of any MBA class. I am not yet familiar with the online classes. The online format is new. It began in January. I will be taking two online classes beginning in March. S. Cannaday, Your comment was offensive and unbecoming.
