CTU is absolutely legitimate. It has a recognized accreditation but it's expensive. You may try any of the following three colleges:

    1. Thomas Edison State College

    2. Excelsior College

    Charter Oak State College

I tried to get some info from CTU and they said they would email me a link to a web page with the information I wanted (classes, prices, etc) and immediately set the next "phone appointment". I never did get the email but they did cal several times to ask if I was ready to enroll.

When I asked what the tuition was, I had to ask about six times before I got the answer of something like 22K.

There are many schools that are cheaper and I did not like how they played the used car salesman game.

    I start the MSM-ISS

    AAXBTN1,

I'm enrolled and will be starting February. They are owned by the same company as AIU (CEC). The online classroom is exactly the same as AIU. I really like the programs in Security it suits my career path.

My initial contact did not go very well, I found them very pushy. After dialoging with them and explaining that I will start when it's good for me, things went well. I’m sure they wanted me to enroll immediately but I was still shopping for schools.

Since deciding to go with CTU the service has been great. I'm very excited to start this program. The price is 22k, that ain't cheap!! Thank god for the GI Bill.

Congratulations. I am glad that you were not swayed by groundless negative comments that were made about CTU. I have looked closely at their graduate programs in Information Security and they seem solid.

    What groundless negative comments?

It has been said they are expensive and they are. Another said they were pushy including the one who actually enrolled with them. It has also been said they were legitimate. There isn't a groundless comment in the bunch.
