I'm trying to get a handle on how many transfer credits I might get from Excelsior for my previous college exploits. Back then I took a lot of non-academic courses (many in the secretarial genre, law office mgmt, real estate documents, etc.), from a Canadian college. I'm not anticipating that I would get transfer credit for these, so I don't want to bother with the transcript, etc, unless there is a chance. I'm not sure what the rule of thumb is for stuff like this. Thanks.
BA4U, Maybe Excelsior College accepts your credits from life experience, and training; However they don't accept any transfer from Nationally Accreditation. If these credits are recommended by ACE....of course, they will accept them. Go to www.acenet.edu for more info. Good Luck.
I also took courses like Introduction to Law, Intro Business etc.. can ACE evaluate them ? Can I ask ACE to evaluate these ? I thought they would only evaluate their approved program courses or from institution/corporate requests or something. dont know how this works
