I'm new to all this distance learning stuff and was wondering if anyone out there could give me some info. on western governors university. I stumbled upon their site and found that they offer a bachelors in interdisciplinary studies prek through 8th grade. Has anyone recieved a degree from this school or heard any negative feedback about it? I'd really appreciate any help or any sites that people know of that could help me out. I would hate to do this program and then not be able to teach. Thanks a lot. rita
Hi Reyna3583, I am a recent graduate of WGU. My degree is in Computer Information Systems, not related to your desired area of study. I have not had any negative feedback, but given the option of attending WGU or a traditional university, I would probably recommend the latter. In my case, it was a combination of work and family priorities that drove me to choose a non-traditional track. WGU was a perfect fit for my situation. If you have any other questions about my experiences, you can run a search for my user name, "Mauditt", on this board. If that still does not answer your questions, feel free to pose them here and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities.
