    Hello Dr Levicoff,
I noticed on a previous post, you mentioned you had a great study guide for TESC Portfolio Assesment. I am currently a senior there and found that they aren't going to credit my real estate courses for my BSBA in Real Estate, eventhough they were obtained from an accredited school, and the state accepted them. PA was the only way I can get credit for these courses. Do you have any tips that I could benefit from. I know almost nothing about PA, and I know you are the resident expert on this and many other topics. :)

Have you checked out "Q & A about TESC portfolio process" on the home page?

    Unfortunately yes.

Yes I did, it looks like it was written by an attorney. Dr Levicoff mentioned he had a much more effective guide. It's a long shot, but worth a try.

I trust you found what you were looking for Ultimale, but here' s a specific application of the principles to your situation.

(By the way, I love the name Ultimale. Sounds like someone who should be on a gay porn board. Not that I read gay porn boards, of course. :D)

Anyway, here's what to do: In your search for course titles to challenge via portfolio, find some similar real estate courses to the ones you took that are offered by regionally accredited schools. Surely there are some programs that offer curricula designed to prepare students to obtain their R.E. licenses.

Then, using the RA course descriptions, challenge the courses using the courses your took to document your learning. You won't be challenging the original courses, but the RA versions.

Remember, the key question in a portfolio challenge is whether you know what the average student would know after taking the RA courses. This works like a charm.

(By the way, it is similar to what ex-Moody students did befroe Moody Bible Institute went RA several years ago. The Moody courses, then having only AABC accreditation, were, in fact, more comprehensive than their RA counterparts, but TESC did not recognie them because of the lack of RA at the time. So students simply found similar courses at RA schools like the then-Philadelphia College of Bible, then challenged them based on their learning from Moody.)
