I certainly would not go there. Their web page lists some very dubious ( to be kind ) accreditors BOUA and UCOEA and then attempts to equate them with recognized regional accreditation bodies such as SACS and NCACS. http://www.rochvilleuniversity.org/Rochville/Accreditation.htm Based upon this I would run screaming from this place before I gave them 2 cents. The nursing program is most certainly not accredited by the NLA, a requirement for licensure in most if not all states. If you are going to get a nursing degree that is useless you may as well go for the MD that you can't get a license with either, at least you can put MD on your business cards if you don't sit the exam, but RN is only allowed for those that pass the exam (otherwise it is GN).
mdoneil: UCOEA accredits Rosebud University. I wonder if Dr. H. D. Thoreau is on the board of that school? John: Kane, Welles, or Hearst I understand, but I'm missing the connection
Orson Welles, Thoreau doesn't everyone mix those two up. See if I try to post two witty comments to two differnt places at the same time again. I wait years for an appropriate opportunity to make a Walden Pond Joke and I screw it up. Of course it was to be .... I wonder if Dr. O. Welles is on the board of that university. Then again only about a month ago I realised that 6Dr. was not a repeated spelling error on this board. I probably should study more and read this board less
I have often wondered if Thoreau had a sense of humor. I mean, he did write, "Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk." Is that circumstantial evidence of a sense of humor?
I posted on Rochville awhile back. I discovered that Rochville is run out of an apartment complex in Malden, Mass. The Mass. Department of Education is fully aware.... now.
