This might have been lost tacked onto Stephen Hampe's thread about doing a book for on-line learners.

Into my mailbox today came The Student Guide to Successful Online Learning: a handbook of tips, strategies, and techniques edited by Ken White and Jason Baker, published in 2004 by the Allyn & Bacon division of Pearson. Jason has posted here and, back in its reputable days, on a.e.d., and is the author of a guide to Christian distance learning. About 3/4ths of the 16 chapters are by White and/or Baker; 15 other authors (not me) contributed the rest. On first glance, it appears to be a comprehensive and very practical work, with lots of helpful case histories.
