I just completed all of the course work for a particular independent study course through UGA. I did quite well with all of the assignments and essays. And I thought that I knew the text book fairly well also. However, I believe that I may have failed the final exam. I was under the impression that questions for the exam was going to be pulled from the lessons that contained over 500 questions. When I took the exam, some of the questions were not in the lessons. This is my 2nd independent study course. Has anyone else experienced surprises like this on exams? Is this typical of distance learning exams?
