Ashworth College is accredited by the DETC. I was looking with interest at the Master of Business Administration degree program. It is very affordable. Could someone please tell me what the status of such a degree from a nationally accredited school would do? I know that there was a previous discussion on this somewhat but would like to know if it is something that should be pursued. My question is would an employer respect such a degree and it seems to me very strange that this school goes from Associates level to Masters without having any Bachelors program. Thanks for your time and input.

Nowadays MBA holders are differentiated by the school they graduated from. This is something that would stick with you for rest of your life.

My advise is to go for an RA MBA.
I am not beating down DETC schools, they have their recognized status. Infact I am thinking of an AA or BS from a DETC school, but my aim is not to increase my salary or get promoted, I am simply interested in the challenge and self development and enhancement aspect of it, job perks come second.

But something as an MBA would surely make me think twice before choosing the right school, and I would narrow it down to RA schools (and I might not consider DL)

Obviously an RA degree would be much highly regarded within education and employment circles than DETC degrees.

    regards
