I'm new and from New Jersey. I've read on some of the previous threads that a degree from KW may be illegal. Currently I'm signed up and ready to withdrawl from the program. They don't seem to have their stuff together! But I'm trying to find out if that is true. I wish I would have found this site a few months ago.

    Thanks,
    Kristi

If you don't know the answer to the above question, maybe you could give advice on how to find out the answer. I'm calling the State Dept. of ED but not sure how to word the question.

Here is a list of schools that are not approved by the U.S. Dept.of Education in Oregon. Hence illegal:

Oregon's State law is similar to N.J. and Kennedy Western is not accredited by any agency approved by the U.S. Depatment of Education.

Don't waste your time and money, there are much better accredited choices out there.

N-W is not recognized in New Jersey. If you wish to pull out do it quick. There is a clause in the contract that states “you will be responsible for 25% of the agreed amount of the program seven business days after you register”
