Hi As part of my MBA dissertation on Succession Planning for Charities, I plan to write a couple of case studies. Can anyone give me some advise on writing a case study please. I've read loads of case studies in my time, but seen very little about how to write one. Thanks Ladey
Also, if you took any research classes as an undergrad, pull them out. Yin's book was very informational, but my texts are helping me put the pieces together.
Thank you - I'll look out the books - hope UK University Library has it - or I'll investigate Amazon I didn't go the under gradualte route so have a large learning curve. I appreciate your recmmendations. If there was ONE thing from your research papers that you'd pass on regarding Case Studies - what would it be? Thanks Ladey

I think the absolute hardest things is the bias that ones brings in without knowing it. Maybe leading to the "right" answer. There is a few sections on validity and bias that are key in most case study books (or general research books for that matter). Many times one does not realize that they are skewing data, since most of the time they have investment into their research. The process to get the answer is sometimes as important to analyze as the answers themselves.
