All along our idea of moderation has been that we would rarely intervene in on-going discussions. We believed that the best kind of moderation should be self-moderation. Only when personal attacks were made without substance would we step in. Today I have deleted a thread (currently only containing one post) where the subject was nothing but a personal attack. This is the first time we've done this. Come on, folks, there is so much to discuss within distance ed. We don't need to sink to the depths of the current AED. Play nice! Tom Nixon
