    Looks Good

This may be the answer to that question, "how does a legitimate school operate while it is striving for accreditation?". They offer BBA, MBA, DBA and PHD. At about $17k total price for the DBA (depending on the exchange rate) they wouldn't be a bad deal if you knew they would achieve accreditation in the time it took to complete the degree. From their web site it seems they are already pursuing professional accreditations so it isn't a big leap for them to go for AAMBA and Equis (maybe even AACSB) when they get accredited.

Thanks, oxpecker. Note that the linked NZZ article alludes to the academically empty process of cantonal authorization and makes oblique reference to l-t-w schools such as "Herisau" and "Teufen". This Educatis sounds fledgling legit, however. Good for them.

"Educatis" offers degrees since the last few years already. Actually, they do have FIBAA accreditation (www.fibaa.de), which is a legitimate German accrediting agency.
Though, since Educatis does not have Swiss authority approval yet, there degrees are rather useless up to a certain point contemporarily until they reach this approval.

This school looks very impressive to me – many of the faculty are from excellent schools and they seem to be very serious about their mission. They may become a major player in online education in the EU – it will be interesting to watch their progress.
