I was just wondering if anyone had information about the university of Queensland Doctorate of Education Program. Is it a good program, How does the price compare to others, etc.

The university of queensland is a top tier australian university. The DEd should be of the best quality given the university standards.

Please consider this. Unless you can get a written agreement, up front, stating that the school will not require you to make the trip to campus, then you need to at least contemplate the need to fork over round trip airfare (plus accomodations) as often as, oh I don't know, maybe once per year? Depending on where you live, this can turn a relatively inexpensive degree program into one whose cost is comparable to US programs. At that point you may find yourself saying, "Why am I getting an Australian degree?" While I have no reason to doubt what RF said above, if you're planning on working in the US you may find the Univ. of Nebraska-Lincoln EdD program both less expensive and having better name recognition. In either case, good luck.
