I am interested in two organizations that seem to claim to accredit private career colleges in Canada.
    - The National Association of Career Colleges (http://www.nacc.ca/default.htm)
-Canadian Education and Training Accreditation Commission (http://www.accreditations.ca/). On their accreditation page the CETAC claims to be an indepedent arm of the NACC.
    Any thoughts?

Private career colleges in Canada must be registered and accredited by the provincial ministry of education. If the college operates in Ontario, it must be accredited by the Ministry of Colleges, Universities and Training. There are no other accreditation agencies.

One exception. Athabasca University is accredited by the Education Ministry of Alberta as is a candidate for RA in the U.S.

If the school isn't regionally accredited or licensed by the Ministry of Education, you may need to contact the local authorities and see what type of license the organization is operating under.
