In an unbelievable sequence of events, we have discovered a current and tenured Harvard professor with a degree from none other than the infamous Earlscroft University.

On that note maybe the Columbia Pacific University accreditation with Malawi is also an April Fools joke specifically designed for this venue. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-....or not.
    Happy April, fellow fools!

The same story has surfaced in the Southeastern US as well. It seems that the doctorate from Earlscroft is accompanied by a master's from the University of San Moritz and a bachelor's from Thurston Howell University.

The professor in question, one Winston James Turintine IV, is chair of Harvard's School of Education. Dr. Turintine has served on numerous doctoral committees for Ed.D. and Ph.D. candidates, and has also written several texts on the pedagogy of educational methodology.

He also serves as president of the American Association of Illigetimately Credentialed Faculty Persons. The AAICFP is comprised of full-time faculty persons from regionally accredited schools who have acquired their credentials from non-RA schools. AAICFP has been operating for some years as a secret society (taking a vow to tell no one of their questionable credentials), however, since 1998 has become more visible.

It will be interesting to see how Harvard responds to the disclosure of Dr. Turintine's less-than-less-than-wonderful credentials.
