Starting the Fall 2004 ESC will change is't current 60 credit MBA program to a 48 credit program.

    From the website

What Makes Empire State College's M.B.A. Program Different?
The newly revised, 48-credit-hour, M.B.A. will begin in the fall 2004 term. The program's emphasis on executive management and leadership is well suited for mid-career managers with some expertise in one or more of the functional areas of organizational practice (i.e., marketing, finance, MIS) as well as relevant experience managing people in an organizational setting. Mid-career managers who wish to acquire both a broader familiarity of the functional requirements of management as well as root such acquisition in a competency framework (emphasizing not only the knowledge but the skill needed to be effective) should find the curriculum design of the M.B.A. program an excellent alternative to traditional programs. Furthermore, prospective learners with credit-worthy experiential learning and competencies will be able to build advanced standing towards their degrees.

In addition, the tuition will change. See below

The 60-credit-hour M.B.A. program charges a comprehensive fee of $5,000 for 9 - 12 credits per term, or $3,500 for 6 - 8 credits per term. The comprehensive fee includes the cost of:

    course instruction at weekend residencies
    course instruction through web-based courses
assessment of learning gained through work experience
review of applicable graduate transfer credit
    college fees

Beginning with the fall 2004 term, the newly revised, 48-credit-hour, M.B.A. program will charge tuition of $420 per credit hour.

The cost is still $20,160.00 not including books.
