Can the Troy State U DL MSM(10 courses) or MPA(10 courses) be completed in 1 year? I am a bit confused because I email the school about this and I got a reply back saying that it takes at least 2 years to complete. However the school has 5 terms per year. So if someone took 2 courses per term wouldn't they be able to complete the degree in 1 year?

Troy State has 5 undergraduate terms. Are you sure the grad terms are the same (10 week)? If so, perhaps the availability of classes restricts you taking all the classes you need each term? I don't know for sure.

Nope that's not it.. I just checked and there are 5 graduate terms just like the undergrad courses. Are you sure you indicated that you intended to take 2 courses per term? Maybe they don't recommend more than one or something...

    Bill,

When I email the school I did make it clear that I want to know how fast can the MPA and MSM program be completed.

Yes, if you take the 10 course option....

you could theoretically complete it in a little over a year. However, some of the classes in the MPA program are very labor intensive and they would be a struggle to double up. If you don't have any other life might not be too much trouble.
