Way to find out if degree recognized.

Is there a way to check to see if a schools degree is accepted for work in your state? I live in Georgia and work for public health. I want to get a doctorate in Public Health. I am considering Walden University. I don't want to spend the time and money if the state of Georgia doesn't recognize it.

 

Walden University is a regionally accredited (RA) university and as such it is has a recognized accreditation. All RA schools are recognized in Georgia.
