    Greetings Mighty Forum~~~

I just noticed that London Bible College offers an "open" MA, new to me, in biblical interpretation. I wish this had been an option, honestly, when I started my MA just a few years ago.

Interestingly, there are three courses. One standard on hermeneutics. Then, one chooses two more among a list of about 5 or 6, some titles were quite interesting too.

    Look for the program here.

Once again, I salute the great forum.

    Research degrees too!

    Greetings Christopher,

According to their prospectus, residence is not mandatory for their research degrees either...they have a great reputation, but it is a bit pricier than some of the other foreign options.

PS - I was thinking of finishing my MA BS at multnomah before I started thinking about DL again. I saw that you got your BA there and was wondering what you thought of their program.

    thanks

When I was at Multnomah, about 5 years ago, it was an excellent college.

I don't have any experience with the graduate school, but I would highly recommend Ron Frost to you. If you are interested in historical theology, Ron would be an excellent mentor. He's there to stay, apparently, and he has done extensive research into the Puritans.

Ron did his PhD at Kings College, and I think one of his readers were Colin Gunton, who I greatly respect.

Since Ron's experience there, I think he has recruited several faculty who are also graduates of King's college (I'm not sure which one-but it's in London).

The community at Multnomah has always been awesome. I would go back in a heartbeat. I can't speak for the grad program specifically, but I think my time there as a college student was life shaping in a profound way.

    Blessings on your search,

    Chris
