Looking for a CHEAP DL Bachelors degree

My wife just completed her AA at a traditional community college. She does not want to go to a traditional school to complete her Bachelors.

Her concentration of credits at the college was theater and communications. She hates IT stuff and is not really interested in a business/management degree.

The best one I have found so far is the BACHELOR OF ARTS
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT from Amberton .

I know there are a lot of schools out there but I really never paid attention to the undergrad courses since I knew I was getting a degree from COSC through CLEPS/DANTES and then I would be working on my masters.

We are also considering the Big Three for a degree but she still needs about 52 credits and she is not interested in CLEPS/DANTES exams (not her thing).

Any suggestion?

 

What about the University of New Orleans/LSU Bachelor of General Studies Degree? I think the way it works is that LSU supplies the courses and UNO awards the degree. LSU is very cheap. My wife just finished two courses from there for $214 each.

Also, Thomas Edison might work because they offer the comprehensive fee which includes all transfer fees and 36 Semester hours of course work for around $5000.00. That comes to around $138 per sh. The price is not too bad and the selection of courses and degrees is good too.

 

How many upper level (300-400) classes does TESC require for graduation?

 

I'm not sure about the upper-level course requirment. It may vary according to the degree program selected. Here's the link to the catalog:

Without knowing anything else, it seems like the TESC B.A. in Humanities might be a perfect fit for her situation. I know that TESC does offer many courses themselves, but unless your wife wants to spend years earning her degree, it probably would come down to have her take some equivalency exams.

That really isn't a big deal, since pretty much any legitimate DL course will require at least a final exam as part of the course requirements, and most likely a mid-term and quizzes as well.

Generally, I was much more confident going into CLEP and DANTES exams than I was with B&M mid-terms and finals.
