An idea for the moderators...

I was just thinking today about a useful add on to this website. Currently, there are several lists that one might want to search to check out a school - for example, the CHEA website lists accredited schools, Oregon lists "unlawful schools", Michigan lists schools that aren't acceptable for state employment, etc.

Could we have a search tool that would allow users to enter a school name ("Borchers University") and then check a number of these lists? A resulting report that points out a school's status with various authoritative sites could be quite useful.

That sounds like an excellent idea, but it would require an enormous amount of effort, and there is probably no potential for revenue. So, it would have to be done on a volunteer basis, and even then would require a ton of effort by the administrators (who seem to have their hands full already.) But it is certainly a great idea.
