    A colleague recently asked my opinion of an online MBA from Cappella U. I have no opinion, since I have only heard of Capella but not direct experience with it. Could anyone offer some pros/cons of the online MBA at Capella?
    Thanks!!

    Capella info

    Hey, thanks for pointing me in that direction! Found plenty of info. Thanks also for gently leading a newby 'by the hand' to find the info!

    I am looking forward to this DB. First one I have joined on DL since finishing my doc. From what I have read so far, seems like a good group of folks logged in.

    Also, if the Capella-Augsburg linkage works out, each Capella grad will get a nice homey package of lefse upon graduation.

    lefse??

    OK, see.....this DB really is educational. I was forced, as a newby, to go and look up lefse.

    By the grace of Saint Google, I now know more than I ever thought I would about both lefse and lutefisk!!! Or, maybe even cared to know?!? {and, all I got was this sheepskin from MU when I graduated!}

    Which "MU" are you referencing?

    Sorry, I forget that there must be a thousand MUs out there! University of Missouri at Columbia....U.S.

    I was thrown by the "MU". I guess it would be "UM".

    Actually, and this is undoubtedly designed to confuse people outside of Missouri, MU is correct. The only folks who refer to it as UM are talking about the entire state university system itself....plus we have two state systems to further confuse folks!!

    I think it maybe dates back to when PDAs were stone tablets and the school was the first land grant university west of the Mississippi River. Then, I think it may have been called Missouri University. Having created all those t-shirts around the turn of the century, the founders kept the MU designation to save a buck, despite making no sense at all.

    And the bigger question....why do I even know this stuff about the school!?!? Or, is the idea that I think I know ANYTHING at all merely a delusion created by the dissertation process?
