Hello everyone! I hope I haven't overstepped my bounds by making my first post a selfish one. Please let me know if I'm crossing any informal rules. :)

Let's make this quick and easy:

    -I'm shopping graduate schools.
-I'm an enlisted guy with the Air Force, working in the communications field (technical controller). We make sure base-to-base and user-to-user comm lines stay up. Interesting field, but I don't plan to do this after retirement.
-I'm 28, married with kids, and my undergrad will be posted on Dec 31st of this year (finally).
-I'm looking at MBAs (who isn't?), because I'd love to work in the automotive field. Not interested in building, designing or fixing vehicles, but rather on influencing, directing and managing the direction of auto companies. I'm an insane car nut. I'm not exactly sure how or what degree to supplement this desire.
-Since I'm in the AF, I have to go with a DL-type of courseload. I get almost $4500/year in TA. My GI bill will cover $1000/month for 34 more months.
-My grades are good (Deans list).
    -I'm currently stationed in Germany.
-Finally, I need a school with "snob appeal". I want my kids, wife, parents to be proud of my degree. Also if I choose to work again after retirement (in 10 years), I want a degree with cojones.

Well there she is, my life broken down into a couple paragraphs.
:D I welcome any and all of your help.

    What are your parameters??

    Residency?
    Tuition?
    Accreditation?

If you give some details, I think the board can help......

No residency requirements. (my home of record is Nevada)

Tuition. $500-$600 per semester hour. This is just a stab in the dark, based upon my TA and GI bill.

    Accreditation. Yes please!

    If you want snob appeal....

Look at Indiana's Kelley School of Business. Top 20 business school and can be done with only a short residency. I think it is one week at the start, UMass-Amherst is top 30 and can be done with no residency.

    GO ARMY!
(had to do that, today is the Army-Navy game)
