    Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've been lurking around here for a few days and, I have to say, have been mildly entertained. as well as finding bundles of useful information, I've enjoyed reading the threads where members have , errr, how shall I say - lost the plot?

Anyway - here's my first question. I have a MEd degree and am looking to start an EdD ASAP. My location dictates that this needs to be done via 100% distance learning - I absolutely cannot make the odd tutorial or presentation.

The key for me is credibility of the awarding body - I'm certainly not in the market to purchase a doctorate, I expect 5 years plus of blood sweat and tears!

If any of you have any suggestions or advice, I'd love to hear from your.

    Regards

    Pad

Hi. Welcome aboard. Use the search function with terms such as "Ed.D.", "education doctorate", etc., and see what comes up. IIRC, University of Nebraska offers an all-DL Ed.D. I recall for sure that there was discussion of the specialist in education degree--you might try searching for that, as it could lead you to directly pertinent material on the Ed.D. as well. Best wishes. Janko
