I was wondering if any students of AMU could tell me how the courses are delivered. Are assignments all completed online, or are they print based. Are the final exams timed online exams, or proctred paper and pencil type. Im interested in the Masters programs and any information in this regard is appreciated.

I completed my B.A. with AMU over a year ago, so things may have changed. Additionally, my experience may not be completely applicable to graduate studies at AMU.

My classes were primarily print based. The online campus does have chat rooms and bulletin boards, which were utilized in two of my classes. Online library services such as EBSCO, LexisNexis, etc., and interlibrary loan services were also part of the online campus.

I download my syllabi and other course material from the online campus at the beginning of the term. After downloading the syllabi and other course material, I made very little use of the online environment. Generally my classes required two research papers and two exams. Most of my professors accepted research papers sent as email attachments. However, a few professors would only accept papers via snail mail. An approved proctor supervised all of my exams.
