On November 3, 2003 the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii entered a Stipulated Permanent Injunction Against Defendants Southern Pacific University (a Hawaii corporation) and its president Diane Dender.

Under the terms of the judgment, SPU is enjoined from operating any degree granting institution in, from or under the color of Hawaii law. The judgment also directs it to terminate its corporate existence in Hawaii. SPU was also ordered to offer full restitution to any students or graduates who enrolled or graduated between Feb. 25, 2002 (its date of incorporation in Hawaii) and October 28, 2003 (the date of its dissolution) conditioned on the return of any diploma awarded. SPU also paid $5,000 in civil penalties, fees and costs.

Anyone wishing to see an unfiled electronic version of the judgment may email requests to [email protected].
