I didn’t find Fort Hayes State University to be very user friendly. I once thought I’d take some courses from them. I contacted them and was told that I would have to apply to the school (and pay their application fee) before I could begin. Well, I applied and waited, and waited some more. They were slooooowww on processing my application. By the time I received my acceptance letter, I had already given up on them and was already taking courses from another school.

    I wasn’t impressed.

I have no direct experience with FHSU, but I think their Master of Liberal Studies program (with many available concentrations) is one of the great bargains in the DL world.

Good Morning, My husband and daughter have both taken classes at Fort Hays. They had a good experience and the price was excellent. Hille

I agree, I attempted to take a couple of psychology courses without enrolling in the program. There appeared to be very little interest as to whether I enrolled or not. They basically told me that they didn't really offer psychology courses, but could not tell me why they were listed as a concentration in the MLS program.

Maybe you will have better luck.

I'm enrolled in the BGS program at FHSU. I'm in my first semester and so far I have no complaints. The course-work isn't difficult so far. I enrolled in a couple of Lit classes this semester. The deadlines have been not too difficult to meet, with work and family considerations. I would recommend the school to anyone who thinks it fits their needs but it is necessary to apply before enrolling in classes.
