TAX deductions/USQ/US Resident

    Can somebody spread some light on this subject.

    Since USQ is located in Australia, am I eligible to claim the tax deductions.

    IRS publication 970 defines eligible educational institutions for the lifetime learning credit (on page 13) and you can find this publication at www.irs.gov
    Basically it includes virtually all accredited institutions eligible to participate in a student aid program administered by the DOE.

    This is a great deduction because it essentially provides a tax credit equal to 20% (as I recall) of your tuition fees with a max credit of $1000/year.

    Gee only a couple of months to tax time
