distance learning forums ?

hi.....

Does anyone here know another distance learning forum...

i want to go through as many forums as i can before i start my distance degree.

 

You could try the distance learning forum at about.com. I haven't checked in there lately but it used to be an OK place. Also, you could try the ol' alt.education.distance (aed) newsgroup although its current incarnation is pretty much a waste of time.

I believe that the collegehints forum is now non-existent (please see the Off-Topics forum for this sizzling conversation )
Also, I believe the online-college forum just links to aed, no?

The collegehints is up and running or at least it was a day or so ago because I posted on it. You are correct about the other. It's not that great, though. There is a lot of bashing of Dr. Bear, Chip, Rich, et. al. on it.

 

You could do as Claud Rains did and round up the usual suspects via Google. A search on <Rich Douglas> would get you started and soon show you who are the other usual suspects. Searching a few of those suspects will lead you to every DL forum extant.

OK, Jimmy, if you say so. Please give me the url you're using though because the one I've got still says "System Upgrade" or some such tripe and I can't load it up.
