Hello, just wanted to get some opinions on a subject. I am interested in a regionally accredited Bachelors degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Humanites area. I work for the Library district so the place where I get the degree from is relatively importantant. So far I have considered the following Universities:

    University of Mass
    University of Maryland

I have CLEP and Dantes scores to transfer but more importantly I have correspondence courses from BYU and LSU that I would like to transfer into the program. My hope is to take the last 30 credit hours at whatever university and be done. I am not able to attend classes so I have to take them online or via correspondence courses.

I have looked into Charter Oak and similar programs but I do not think my employer will accept these programs even though they have the proper credentials.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    Nicole,

    Charter Oak State College
    Thomas Edison State College
    Excelsior College

These schools will offer you the same as any other RA degree without having to take courses from them. Employers do accept these programs. Why do you think they would not be acceptable?

    Nicole:

Go to www.degree.net and search under schools. There are numerous options to earn a regionally accredited degree, especially at the undergrad level.

    Best wishes in your pursuit.
