    Hello,
Does anyone have any experiences with UNISA's LLB program? Based on their website the program seems interesting but some information tends to be lacking, ie. cost and whether there is a postgraduate 2 yr option like at University of London.
I'm also concerned about UNISA's reputation on this board as being very difficult to work with .

    Any thoughts?

Thank you very much for the URL!
I'm not planning to take the bar using the UNISA LLB (I'll be persuing an ABA JD as well); main purpose of the UNISA LLB would be personal enrichment and to apply to American LLM programs for my third year in the JD program.

    Hello Anthony,

Although I do not have any personal experience studying through UNISA, I have many close friends and family who have. They have only given positive feedback on the University, but only one studied outside Southern Africa. If you need information on the cost of their programmes or Post Grad options, just ask.

    Anthony,
You may wish to contact Dr. Michael Esselen of iaca-canada. He's quite knowledgeable in this matter and will most certainly answer your questions regarding the LLB program.

www.iaci-canada.com (U.S. and Canadian agent for UNISA)

As a student of UNISA (DLitt et Phil candidate), I have encountered some problems communicating with my promoters.

However UNISA is an internationally recognized GAAP university.

You may also want to check with your local state bar association to see if the UNISA LLB is an acceptable degree for writing the bar exams.

If I may ask what are your goals? Is there a particular reason you want a law degree?
